Dear all,

Yesterday, I moved to Haarlem from Amsterdam.  Unlike the one in Amsterdam, it's a six bedded room (20 beds in Amsterdam hostel) with shower and toilet in room.  It was nice to have new roommates, three German girls.  They are also impressed by my travel plan.  Guess that not many people did this.

Today, I went to Keukenhof, the flower garden.  It was a long way to get there because I missed the stop.  Here is the story......

I was susposed to take bus #50 or 51 and get off at the small down, Lisse, which should be about 40 minutes drive.  After that, change to bus #57.  I did get on the right bus, and tell the driver I'm going to Lisse.  However, the driver changed in the middle of the trip, and the new driver didn't know where I was going.  By the time I found that something was wrong, I already missed the stop.  Actually, it didn't show "Lisse" on the bus stop at all.  So, I have to go to the destination of the bus, Leiden.  And then change to another bus to go  to Keukenhof.  It took me almost three hours to get to Keukenhof from Haarlem which sould be only one hour trip.

Anyway, it wasn't the first time I missed the bus stop, and it won't be the last.  The flowers in the Keukenhof didn't disappoint me.  It's too difficullt to discribe it in English.  Let me show you the photos later.

Tonight, I have dinner with my ex-coworker in Holland.  His family is very nice, and the little girls are so cute.  The meals are not traditional Holland food, but sort of creative food.  It's like pizza with vegetable topping and non-bread bedding.  Anyway, it's interesting and teasting not bad.  After three days of cold sandwich and bread, any hot food are welcomed to my stomach.

That's all for today.  Talk to you next time.

Best regards,

Judy
