Dear all,
The plan has changed a little bit. Considering my body strength, I deleted the plan of Utrecht and went to small towns both yesterday and today. So, I went to Zaansche Schens to see the windmills and Alkmaar for Cheeze market.
Zaansche Schens is a samll and quite town. There is an open air windmill meseum. No need to worry about the crowds. And, it's very interesting to see the cheeze carrier in the cheeze market at Alkmaar. They have a funny rhyme while they are carrying the cheeze. I found that I enjoyed the small town better than the big city. Amsterdam is too crowded and too much tourist for me.
Tonight, I'm leaving for Munich by night train. Before I leave, I had a memorial dinner here. When I walk through the flower market in Amsterdam. There is this wonder smell of fried rice from a indonecia restaurant. Can't resist it after so many days of cold bread. (I only had one real dinner at my friend's house in last five days.) It's cost me 13 Euro for fried rise and a bottle of water. So expensive...
This time, I only spend short time in Holland and not able to see the other interesting small towns. Wish there would be other chance to come again. Next time, I want to ride a bike on the flower field.
Gosh, it costs me 3.5 Euro to finish this artile. Everything costs money here. It's really dutch.
Best regards,
Judy
