Dear All,

Finally, I'm back on line again.  Miss me...?   

I'm now in an internet cafe in Frankfurt which allows me to read Chinese.  It's good that I don't need to face all those unreadable Chinese words.  Now, I can read what you write to me.  That feels great.  

It's been over 10 days without internet and felt isolated without it.  Lots of things happens in the past 11 days.  

First of all, I catch a cold in Salzburg.  This is worse than the bad weather.  I haven't catch a cold for over a year and the terrible weather cause me this problem.  The weather changed a lot in Austria.  I experienced all kinds of weather style there, rainy, snow, sunny, cloudy.  The temperature changed from 5 degree to 30 degree in four days.  Because of the cold, I've been a very noisy roommate since I catch a cold.  Poor +0.  I felt sorry if she couldn't sleep well because of me.  Anyway, it's about time to get well.  I'll be fine.

The good thing is the weather is pretty nice after Salzburg.  As I said it changed a lot.  The first night was raining and cold.  I guess it was about 5 degree that night.  The second day is still cold (about 10~15 degree) but sunny.  We can see there were snow on the mountains around Salzburg last night.  After that, the temperature raised day by day.  On the date we returned to Salzburg, it was 30 degree there.  So~~~hot.  And we were carried the heavy coat like madness.    Beside this, something interesting happend in Gosausee near Hallstatt.  There were lots of snow on the mountain around the lake.  While we walked around the lake, half of the trail was covered by snow.  It was quite an interesting experience.

It seems to be too early to travel in the Bavarian Alps in the early May.  The tops of mountains are still covered by snow.  Some of the attractions on the mountains are not open yet.  We couldn't go to the Eagle Nest in Berchtesgaden because of the snow.  So we choosed the mountain Janner near the Koonigssee.  However, there is also lots of snow up there.  We couldn't walk around the peak and get the panorama view of the area.  So, I saw lots of snow in the trip which I didn't expect to.

After two weeks traveling with +0, I go on the journey alone again.  It feels a little lonely especially when I need somebody to take a picture for me.  But, not only me is doing this kind of long journey.  We met a Taiwan girl in Gosausee who traveled alone, and her trip is 80 days.  We talked a lot that night in Hallstatt.  Kind of hard to imagine that if I had this trip last year, I would be traveling alone all the trip like she is doing now.  She is so brave.

It's time to go back to YH.  I am moving again tomorrow.  Going on short trip to Rhin River.
